When you open each of the three stacked boxes, you’ll find sewing notions beautifully arranged both inside the box and in the lid. You are sure to bring joy to anyone who holds them in their hands. In particular, the Seigaiha Wave pattern carries a heartfelt message of wishing for peaceful days.

The three-tiered box, made of Paulownia wood, features a leather engraving of Seigaiha (wave). That pattern has a meaning of peaceful days. Inside the top box, there are mini Japanese scissors made in Nigata, and a tiny plum-shaped pincushion. The pincushion is made from Noto Futakoshi Chirimen, and each piece is threaded by hand with care one-by-one to give it a beautiful texture. Chirimen textile started being made in Japan at the end of the 16th century and is a fabric with a distinctive weave. One-touch needles from Hiroshima where have been making needles for over 300 years.
